Prices
The price is £179 per persons based on 45+ persons travelling and staying in youth hostel (half board basis), tourist class hotel (bed and breakfast) or holiday village (self catering).

Typical Itinerary (4 day/3 night tour)

Fri 27th May:	Depart local area in the morning for your journey to Dover, regular comfort stops will be made throughout your tour. Continue journey to Holland arriving early evening. Check into your hotel, rest of day at leisure. Welcome meeting.
Sat 28th May:	The ISL Arnhem Whitsun Cup commences today. Penalty competition. Local excursion if required.
Sun 29th May:	Placement matches and finals. Trophy presentations. Local excursion if required.
Mon 30th May:	Depart Arnhem around midday if you prefer a stopover in the beautiful city of Bruges or a hypermarket. Continue journey to your local area arriving during the evening.

Transport
Teams wishing to travel overnight (popular with North of England or Scottish clubs) can do so at a supplement of £18 per person. This would allow your group more time at your destination, meaning you would depart on Thursday evening and arrive in Holland around Friday lunchtime.

Executive coach with video, wc and hot drinks facility included free of charge for groups of 25 persons or more. Smaller groups will have luxury standard coaches suitable for the size of their party, upgrades to executive vehicles are available, for an economical option smaller groups may share with another team at £199 per person.

Sailings are also available via Harwich - Hook, Hull - Rotterdam and Newcastle – Amsterdam at supplements, please enquire if required.

The most suitable airport to fly into is Dusseldorf Niederrhein Weeze, transfers from here to your accommodation are approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. We can also transfer you from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Dusseldorf and Dortmund airports, transfer times around 90 minutes, prices on request.

Tourist Hotel	Arnhem area, very limited, suitable for smaller groups.
Holiday Villages	Several within 20-60 minutes, including Sunparks at Loohorst.
Center Parcs (+ £20 per person)	Het Heijderbos, south of Nijmegen, 45 minutes away De Eemhof, east of Amsterdam, 45 minutes away
Medium Hotel (+ £30 per person)	Arnhem, central or outskirts as preferred.
First Class Hotel (+£60 per person)	Arnhem, central or outskirts as preferred.

Meals
As indicated above, also hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, bread, chocolate, alcoholic and soft beverages are available on tournament days at the clubhouse at economical prices.

C junior:	boys born 1996 / 1997 (11 a side)
D junior:	boys born 1998 / 1999 (11 a side)
E junior:	boys born 2000 / 2001 (7 a side)
C junior:	girls born 1996 / 1997 (11 a side)

Age dispensations may be applied for. Up to 16 teams per age group split into groups of 4 or 5. Each team plays group games on the first day and continues with further games and knockout games on the second day. Duration of games is 2 x 20 minutes.

Facilities at the VDZ grounds are excellent with 6 full size pitches, training area, marquee and clubhouse, snack bar, football stall and first aid.

History
2011 will be the 25th edition of this superb tournament. The tournament is mainly Anglo – Dutch, although teams have participated from Germany and Czech Republic.

Location
Arnhem is situated in the province of Gelderland, close to the German border and around 5 hours from the channel port of Calais. The city is famous for it’s ‘Bridge Too Far’ and it’s role in ‘Operation Market Garden’ during WW2 when the Allies parachuted into Arnhem and held the bridge for several days against overwhelming odds. There are several monuments to this around the area including the museum at the British HQ at nearby Oosterbeek.

It’s also possible to visit the Geldrodome, home of Vitesse Arnhem, a state of the art stadium with retractable roof and removable pitch.

Arnhem has excellent shopping shopping facilities and very lively nightlife.

Social Programme
The emphasis of the weekend is very much on friendship and fun. The hub of the tournament is the clubhouse which remains open into the evenings with music every night. A highlight of the tournament is the Saturday evening BBQ.

Our Opinion
28 teams competed for the Arnhem Whitsun Cup in 2010, places are limited so early bookings are essential.
